DESCRIPTION:Little Buckaroos can learn all about the sport of rodeo in true western fashion at the YMCA Round Up\, Tuesday August 15th from 5:00pm-6:30pm at Gabiola Field (adjacent next to the rodeo grounds and football stadium).\n\nAt this FREE event\, junior cowboys and cowgirls alike will enjoy obstacle courses while dodging imaginary cow pies\, lassoing a calf and a train ride around the field on a cart pulled by Personal Ponies.\n\n\n\nCome support our "professional rodeo athletes of the future" as the top 20 junior qualifiers from the Canyon County Fair compete in the Junior Rodeo Finals nightly at CNR\, Tuesday- Saturday at 6:30pm. \n\n\n\nA fan favorite at CNR\, Junior Steer Riding follows the Junior Rodeo and features mini cowboys and cowgirls 7-10 years of age riding steers weighing between 500-1\,000 pounds.
