SUMMARY:Career Explortion Day for Middle and High School Students
DESCRIPTION:Inspire to Hire is Junior Achievement of Idaho's largest career exploration day. The objective of the event is to provide youth a job fair experience that will enable them to explore a variety of career opportunities and college scholarships. It will provide students with hands on exposure to the region's best employers\, the job opportunities they offer and the skills and education paths necessary for those jobs.\n\nThe students will be presented with two lessons before the event\, the third lesson during the event and the fourth lesson will allow students to share feedback with the class about what they gained from the event. The 3rd lesson held at the event will have students participate in "mock" interviews given by the business representatives. The businesses will provide information on what it takes to get into that field\, current job openings\, and have further information available to students about their business. As a business you can become a sponsor\, and offset the cost of the materials and facilitation costs directly associated with the event. Space is limited.
